North Augusta, SC…... Mr. Michael W. Lummen, 69, husband of Marie Lummen, of Bartlett Lane, entered into rest on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Father Renaurd West officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Park.
Mr. Lummen was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked as a civil engineer at SRS. He was a member of the Basketball Referees Association and an avid sports fan. He was a loving father and family man.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Erin DiLisio (Justin) of Boston, MA, Meredith Baekelandt (Matthew) of North Augusta, SC, and Amy Lummen of Boston MA; one brother, Robert Lummen (Kathy) of Sacramento, CA; two sisters, Kim Srp of Boerne, TX and Lori Lummen Kia of Honolulu, HI; and two grandchildren, Mary DeLisio and Maddie Baekelandt.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Lummen’s nephews.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.
Memorials may be made to the Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer’s Care, 1901 Central Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.
