Mayo Robbins

January 27, 1939 ~ January 4, 2018 (age 78) 78 Years Old
North Augusta, SC…… Mr. Mayo Robbins, 78, of Murrah Road Extension, entered into rest on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Augusta University Medical Center. 
 
Mr. Robbins graduated ARC in 1957. He was the founder of Time Wash and Time Wash Systems which was the company that was partially responsible for the restoration of an Augusta Landmark, the Sacred Heart Church. His company was also responsible for cleaning the brick at Turner Field in Atlanta prior to the 1996 Summer Olympics. Time Wash was also involved in the clean-up and new construction in Myrtle Beach after Hurricane Hugo in 1989.
 
He enjoyed golf, card games with friends and most of all boating, fishing and camping at Clarks Hill Lake, where he taught his children and their friends to water ski. Mayo was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather who spent his life caring for the family he loved so much. He will be remembered for his “Gentle Persuasion”, “Words of Wisdom”, and “Sense of Humor”. Mayo will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
 
Survivors include his son, Ricky Robbins; two daughters, Rhonda Culpepper and her husband Chuck and Linda Williford; two sisters, Margie Carlton and Theresa Brooks;6 grandchildren, Holley Phillips, Hannah Culpepper, Cody Williford, Dillon Williford, Ricky Patrick, and Ryan Patrick; and 3 great grandchildren, Drew Phillips, Ali Phillips and Leila Whitaker.
 
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
