William A. Priester, Sr.

North Augusta, SC…...Mr. William A. Priester, Sr., 92, husband of the late Dorothy S. Priester, entered into rest on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at his residence.

His funeral and entombment service will be held at the Pineview Memorial Gardens Veteran’s Mausoleum at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 with Veteran’s Honors. The family will receive friends following the service. 

Mr. Priester was a US Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He retired from his position in operations with the E.I DuPont Co. at SRS after 35 years of service. He was named “King of the Loop” by his neighbors for his impeccable yard and flowers.

Survivors include his sons, William A. “Billy” Priester, Jr. and Gary Kenneth Priester; his daughter, Laurie Angelyn Laidig; four grandchildren, Josh Priester (Tina), Jamie Laidig (Kristen), Nikki Priester, and Austin Priester; four great grandchildren, Bailee Priester, Lucas Priester, Tinley Laidig, and Tucker Laidig.
