Wayne C. Bennett

North Augusta, SC...........Mr. Wayne C. Bennett, Sr., 88, went to his Heavenly home on July 18, 2019. 

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date. 

Mr. Bennett served in the US Air Force and, following his discharge, studied for a brief time at Kansas State University. He began his career in the construction industry working as a surveyor. He found himself being taken all over the country by his career and made friendships that he talked about often.

He was married to the love of his life, Pat for 66 years until she was called home in 2016.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his son Wayne C. Bennett, Jr. and his wife Kathy; his sisters, Donna Sayer and Norine Wahl; three grandchildren, Wayne C. Bennett, III (Elizabeth), Josh Bennett (Lauren) and Matt Bennett; step grandchildren, Ellen Barfield and Melissa Barfield; great grandchildren, Andrew, Elise, and Miles Bennett; step great grandchild, Isabella Barfield and several nieces and nephews.
