Wanda L. (Maddox) Wiggins

North Augusta, SC……Mrs. Wanda L. Wiggins, 58, wife of Patrick C. Wiggins, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at AU Medical Center.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Wanda was a lifelong member of North Augusta. She loved her family and playing with her grandchildren. She was an avid and talented gardener and cook. Wanda was a huge lover of books. She loved to read and play games.

Additional survivors include her daughter, Erica N. Valdez-Paz (Corey); her son, Stephen W. Atencio; her mother, Sarah Bratcher; her brothers, Calvin Maddox, Jr. (Marilyn) and Bryan “BK” Maddox (Christy); her sister, Lavonne Calhoun (Griff); her grandchildren, Emily Dawn “Emmie” Valdez-Paz and Chloe Nicole “CoCo” Valdez-Paz; a host of nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs whom she loved very much, Ryker, Goober and Blaze.

Pallbearers will be Corey Valdez-Paz, Charles Calhoun, Drew Maddox, Brian Wiggins, Robert Jr. Wiggins, and Marty Bryant.
