North Augusta, SC.......Ursula “Ulla” Ellefson entered into rest on April 7, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Ellefson.
Born on July 26, 1942, in Germany, Ulla brought warmth, kindness, and grace to all who knew her. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and worked faithfully alongside her husband Don in the family’s moving business. Ulla was the anchor of her family — a steady, loving presence who offered constant support and encouragement.
She is survived by her three sons:
Brian Ellefson and his wife Anita, along with their daughters Kristin Stokes (husband David Stokes) and Rachel Moore (husband Dustin Moore and their daughter Harper).
Nyles Ellefson and his wife Juanita, along with their children Jack Ellefson and Hannah Cawley (husband Davis Cawley).
Ty Ellefson and his wife Lorrie, along with their daughters Kaitlyn Ellefson and Ashley Ellefson.
Ulla had a special love for her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Family gatherings were her greatest joy, and she was always the voice of encouragement and support. She had a heart for helping others — often quietly and without recognition — and she never met a stranger. Her door and heart were always open, and she made sure everyone felt welcomed and included.
She loved being at home, taking pride in keeping her house and yard in pristine condition. Her hobbies centered around what mattered most to her — her family. She especially enjoyed trips to the lake and to the beaches of Alabama, where she made lasting memories with loved ones.
Ulla was deeply loved and will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Her kindness, strength, and love will live on in the lives of those she touched.
Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Glander officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org
