As a young boy he was fearless. Through Cub Scouts he earned his arrow of light.
After scouts he found his real passion, music. It consumed him and became proficient in both guitar and piano. He also loved to write music and sing. He loved his family and little brother, Aaron.
In high school his friendships grew stronger with all those he met. He began a plumbing apprenticeship program with Adams Plumbing and More, his father's business.
After graduation he began the mechanical contractor program at Aiken Technical College working toward the 400 apprenticeship hours he would need to be eligible to take his journeyman plumber's test. He and his buddies recently found a passion for bowling.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Timothy David and Anita Fursey Fay; and his maternal grandfather, Johnny Ray Blankenship.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Adam John and Angela Rowe Fay; his mother and step-father, Paulette B. and Brad Chase; his brother, Aaron Fay; his step-brothers, Tracen Fincher and Jesson Fincher; his step-sisters, Brianna Stevens, Miranda Stevens, and Meaghan Frishkorn; and his maternal grandmother, Janet Martin Blankenship.
