North Augusta, SC…..Mr. Thomas David Madigan, 66, loved Jesus and went home to be with Him on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Emory University Hospital.
His memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Wade Sosebee officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until service time.
A native of Ohio, Tom had called North Augusta home for only a short time after spending 36 years in Conyers. He loved to be outdoors whether he be shooting guns, tinkering or doing yard work, riding his Harley or playing with his dogs. He was a proud Scout Master for over 10 years, enjoyed all things trains, and operating his HAM radio. Tom will be remembered for being quick to correct someone’s grammar, being a jokester and a prankster, and enjoying a good time. He loved his red F-150 and was very particular about who got to drive it. More than the truck or the dogs, however, Tom loved his family, particularly his grandchildren. The family is grateful that Tom got to enjoy his last “red can” of Coke before going home to Jesus.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Henri Madigan; his son, Thomas Madigan (Laura); his daughter, Caitlin Edwards (Anthony); his grandchildren, Tony Edwards, David Madigan, Abigail Madigan, and Odin Madigan; his brothers, John Madigan, Bill Madigan, and Ted Madigan; his sisters, Peggy Madigan, Lynn Madigan, and Nell Madigan; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Daegan and Nipper.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, Juliet, TN.
