Graniteville, SC....... Terry Austin Palmer was born in Vidalia, GA on March 25, 1962, and passed away on March 15, 2025 at his residence. A memorial service to honor and remember him will be held on Sunday, March 23 at 4:00 PM at High Praises Church of God, 1898 Knobcone Ave., North Augusta, SC.
Terry was an Army veteran and had a deep love for the outdoors, spending much of his life hunting and fishing. His passion for the outdoors was not just a pastime but a way of life, one he eagerly shared with those around him. In the 2000s he ran Boar Hunter Magazine, reflecting his enthusiasm for the outdoors and his entrepreneurial spirit.
Above all, Terry cherished his family. His two sons, Tyler and Trent, held a special place in his heart and he took great pride in passing down his hunting skills and love for the outdoors. In 2019, he moved from Georgia to Graniteville, SC to be closer to family, an opportunity that brought him great joy. Having two grandchildren to teach and share his passions with was one of the highlights of his later years and he left a lasting impression on their lives.
Terry is survived by two sons, Trent Palmer and Tyler Palmer (Olivia), and his beloved grandchildren Truett and Ridge Palmer. His love, wisdom and adventerous spirit will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
