Susanne Dunton Obituary

North Augusta, SC......Mrs. Susanne Purtz Busby Dunton, 74, wife of the late Donald E. Dunton, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Charlotte, NC and had made North Augusta her home for the majority of her life. A 1966 graduate of North Augusta High School, she went on to a long career in Accounting at E-Z Go Textron. She was an avid soccer fan and loved gardening and all animals great and small.

She is survived by her son, Kirk Busby (Laurie), Charleston,SC. Her sister Kathleen Hyatt (Fred) Beaufort,SC; her grandchildren, Claire Purtz Busby and Daniel Lewis Busby; her nieces, Heather Miller (Jonathan), Kerry Hyatt (Kristen); and Megan Hyatt; her great niece, Brinlee Miller; and her great nephew, Aiden Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Laura Culp Purtz.

Memorials may be made to the animal rescue organization of one’s choice. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
