Samuel Scott Carpenter, Sr.

North Augusta, SC……..Mr. Samuel Scott Carpenter, Sr., 55, entered into rest on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his residence. 

His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Scott was always happy and will be remembered as being the life of the party. He had a great sense of humor. He loved his family, friends, and his work family. In his free time, Scott enjoyed spending time with Sam, his son, watching sports, going to NASCAR races and listening to 80’s rock, especially KISS.. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel M. Carpenter as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents. 

Survivors include his son, Samuel “Sam” Scott Carpenter, II; his mother, Brenda D. Carpenter; his brother, Brian K. Carpenter (Margee); his nieces, Brianna Carpenter and Kaylee Carpenter. A host of other family members and his "loving brother from another mother" John Athanaelos.
