Ruth Parrish Collins

North Augusta, SC………Mrs. Ruth Parrish Collins, 96, wife of 53 years to the late Sam A. Collins, entered into rest on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her residence.

The family will receive friends at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM. A private family graveside service will be held.

Mrs. Collins had been a resident of North Augusta since 1949. She enjoyed searching for and collecting antique glassware. She could easily tell you what type of glass you had and how much it was worth. Additionally, collecting and selling filled much of her time. She had several shops and booths through the years. Nothing, however, brought her more joy than her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Sammy Collins (Cindy) and Larry Collins (Terri); her grandchildren, Bram Collins (Jennie), Samuel Collins, Matthew Collins (Lauren), Nicholas Collins, Brittany Wisner (Cody), Christopher Collins (Katy); her great grandchildren, Emily Collins, Andrew Collins, Chase Collins, Nora Collins, Grady Wisner, Benjamin Collins, Eliza Collins, Magnolia Wisner, Cedar Collins, Zipporah Collins, and Caleb Collins. 

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Chelsea Collins. 

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Adrianna Council, Donnita Moody, Shalanda Tucker, Chloe Tucker, and Abrieanna Council.
