Robert Thomas Jones

North Augusta, SC…..Robert (Butch) Thomas Jones passed away on June 21, 2022. 

Mr. Jones was predeceased by his parents Dorothy Kirby and Calvin Legette Jones. Butch was born in Columbia, SC on November 1, 1956 and moved to North Augusta, SC at an early age and loved living there as that was considered home. 

Butch enjoyed golfing, especially on his family trips to the coast playing with his nephews and always assuring them he would be the winner on that particular day. He was a lifelong fan of the Gamecocks, the Falcons and the Braves. The Masters was the highlight of each spring for him. 

Butch is survived by his wife, Teresa Anne Stewart Jones, stepson, Spencer Anthony Hanks and stepdaughter Chelsea Rabun of Beech Island, SC. Also, his brother, Leonard Jones, Champaign, IL, his sister, Harriet J. Price, Columbia, SC, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved dog Patience. 

There will be a private celebration of life to be held at a later date.
