Nancy Shealy Lowry

Nancy Shealy Lowry, 85, entered into rest on July 26, 2022, surrounded by her beloved family.  

Nancy was born in Aiken, SC on March 7, 1937 to the late Laurie Carlton Shealy and Miriam Page Shealy. After graduating from North Augusta Senior High School in 1955, she studied at Converse College. Nancy worked as a flight attendant for Delta before returning to school and becoming a pediatric registered nurse. She practiced nursing for over 35 years. Nancy attended Grace United Methodist Church and was a member of the Stillwell Sunday School class. 

Nancy loved animals, enjoyed traveling, visiting Edisto, and especially loved her family. She was very proud of her three grandsons. 

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Rudloph Lowry. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert (Sharon) Shirley; two daughters, Paige Hall and Dana Baker; and three grandsons, Christopher, Cameron, and Ryan Cheape. 

Her memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Shane Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, as a reflection of Nancy's love for animals, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to the SPCA Albrecht Center, 199 Willow Run Road Aiken, SC 29801.
