Nancy Derrick Brumbles

Johnston, SC…….Nancy Derrick Brumbles, 73, wife of 46 years to the late Andy L. Brumbles of Ridgeview Lake Rd., Johnston, SC entered into rest Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Augusta University Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Mt. of Olives Cemetery in Johnston, SC. The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.

Mrs. Brumbles was born in Columbia, SC to the late William and Nan Keller Derrick. A 1968 graduate of North Augusta High School, Nancy went on to Coker College where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Following her graduation in 1972, she went on to a lengthy career as an English teacher at Johnston Elementary School. She will be remembered as a beloved educator, restaurateur, caterer and baker.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Nancy B. Craig and her husband, George; her grandchildren, Pax and Natalie Craig; her first cousin, Kaye Keller Chrisco; the Wigfall Family; and the Davion Family.
