Minnie Elliott Dixon

North Augusta, SC……. Minnie Elliott Dixon, wife of the late Billy B. Dixon, went to her heavenly home on April 27, 2023 at the age of 90. 

She was born in Camden, SC on December 9, 1932 to the late Lonnie and Sallie Rodgers Elliott.  

Minnie was an accountant for much of her life, and retired as a business manager at WRDW TV. She was a member of First Baptist Church, North Augusta. She was an avid reader and especially loved to read her Bible. In recent years, she read her Bible from cover to cover each year. Minnie coached softball with the North Augusta Recreation Department; she was an avid Atlanta Braves fan; and she was a long-time member and past president of Pilot Club of North Augusta. Most of all, Minnie loved her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Becky Alexander (Skip), Donna Walker, and Bobby Dixon; her grandchildren: Jason Suggs, Jennifer Jones (Wes), Cathy Walker, Jessica Alexander, Sam Alexander (Xeregha Lopez), Tyler Dixon, and Joseph Dixon (Vienna Oswald); her great-grandchildren: Austin Jones, Andrew Jones, and Jackson Smith; and her best friend and long-time neighbor (and fellow Braves fan), Louise Odom. 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Pineview Memorial Gardens, Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating.
