Mildred P. Weeks

North Augusta, SC…Mrs. Mildred P. Weeks, 96, wife of the late Jules M. Weeks, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at National Healthcare.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. James D. Dennis, Jr. and Dr. T. Joseph Lusk officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Weeks was a active and dedicated member of Grace United Methodist Church. She volunteered at Community Ministries of North Augusta from 1984-2011. Additionally, she was a sustaining member of the Pink Ladies Volunteers at University Hospital where she had served over 8,000 hours since she began in 1983. She was a member of the Golden Glow Chapter #76 Order of the Eastern Star for 33 years and held many position to include Past Matron. She received life membership this year at the age of 96. She was employed at Cullum’s Department Store in the china department for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann Weeks Kay of North Augusta; four grandchildren, Julie Sheehan Skeens (Gary), of Tybee Island, GA, William F. Sheehan, IV (Dee), David Loy (Robin) both of Graniteville, and Jenny Chaffin of North Augusta; 10 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; a special nephew, Charles H. “Bo” Pitts, III and a special caretaker, Ida Quiller.

Pallbearers will be Will Sheehan, V, Garrett Chaffin, Gary Skeens, Tony McKinnon, Zack Chaffin and Nolan Loy.

The family will receive friends at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home this evening, May 31, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
