Mildred Coleman Adams

Mrs. Mildred Coleman Adams, 97, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 23, 2022. She attended Curtis Baptist Church.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Rowland Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J. David Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Adams was born in Soperton, GA and was the daughter of the late Columbus Coleman of Soperton and Marie Elliott Coleman Shealy of Langley. She was a retired business owner of Jo Belle Millinery in Augusta.

Her family remembers her as a dedicated and dutiful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She is survived by her children; Jerry W. Adams (Yolanda), Vickie A. Adams, Melanie A. Lee (David), and Ricky C. Adams (Barbara). Additional survivors include a sister, Jeanne C. Kirkland, a brother, James Gardner, and a very special cousin, Janette C. Kelly. Mrs. Adams had six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Rodger Barlowe, a sister, Dealver C. Wessinger and a brother, Earl Gardner.
