North Augusta, SC…..Mrs. Maryann Ciancia, 86, wife of the late Frank Ciancia, entered into rest on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at her residence.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Alex Romanov officiating. Entombment will follow in the Pineview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until service time.
Mrs. Ciancia was born in the Bronx, NY and lived in Boca Raton, FL before making North Augusta her home since 2007. She retired from many years in the foodservice industry including owning her own catering business. Following her retirement, she fulfilled her love of caring for children by working for several years at True Foundations Learning Center. She loved music and dancing and will be remembered for having a big heart.
She is survived by her sons, Gary W. Bjorklund, Glen A. Bjorklund, and Wayne L. Bjorklund (Teresa); her daughter, Melissa Donna Ortiz; her grandchildren, Dominick Ortiz, Glen Bjorklund, Samantha Bjorklund, Kelsi Bjorklund, Athena Bjorklund, and Jeremy Bjorklund; her great grandchildren, Jayden Bjorklund, Cameron Bjorklund, and Colton Bjorklund; her sister, Madeline Lingos.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Stifel and Richard Stifel; as well as a sister, Margaret Langan.
