Mary June (St. Clair) Johnson

North Augusta, SC………Mrs.Mary June St. Clair Johnson, 91, wife of the late William Johnson, Jr., entered into rest on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at her residence. 

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2023 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Skip Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Johnson had been an active and devoted member of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church since 1973 where she served in the kitchen and kept the nursery. She served her country for several years in the US Air Force and continued to serve as a nurse at the VA for the full span of her 38 year career. She was a caring and devoted wife and mother. In 1982 she and her husband established Johnson Jewelers, a family business that still operates today. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Stan Johnson (Becca) and William Michael Johnson (Terry); her grandson, William Deven Johnson (Mallory); her great grandson, William Dolan Johnson; and her canine companion of 10 years, Fritz.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack St. Clair, Clark St.Clair, and Stanley St. Clair; as well as her sister, Joy Murray.
