Martin William Hodan

Martin William Hodan passed away on October 16, 2023. 

He was born in Atlanta, GA on July 21, 1952 to the late Arthur and Margaret Hodan. He lived most of his life in North Augusta. 

After earning his bachelor's degree from USC, he spent many years working as an office manager for Kværner. 

Martin loved to garden, grill, camp, hike, collect war memorabilia, and work with model boats. He also loved music and was constantly finding deep tracks to send to his family. Most importantly, he adored his grandchildren and loved to joke around with them. 

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Elizabeth Raper (Tyrone) and Allison Hodan; two grandchildren, Chloe Weaver and Everett Weaver; a brother, John Hodan (Libby); five nephews, and three nieces. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 1:00 PM in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
