Mrs. Margaret H. Prince, wife of the late Rev. James Lloyd Prince, entered into rest on May 17, 2022 at her residence.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 20, 2022 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Darrell Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Prince was born in Millen, Ga. but resided in Belvedere SC most of her life.
She retired from MCG after thirty years of service in Student Affairs and Financial Aid. After retirement, she continued to work part time at Aiken Tech for several years.
Later in life she served faithfully as a Pastor’s Wife in several area churches until her spouse of sixty-three years retired due to illness.
Her gentle spirit, encouraging words, and generous heart made everyone who knew her love her. She radiated the love of Jesus everywhere she went.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurel P. Brinson.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy P. Wilson (Eddie), and Myra P. Thompson (Darrell); her grandchildren Crystal C. Smith, Marcie W. McGregor, Tiffany C. Morton, Ed Wilson, Devin T. Moore, and Kellie T. Jackson; sixteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
