Leslie Thomas Fickling III

Martinez, GA……. Leslie Thomas Fickling III entered into rest on November 16, 2024 at the age of 62.

He was born on July 3, 1962 in Fort Walton Beach, FL to Leslie Thomas Fickling Jr. and Annette Gilley Fickling.  

A previous resident of Foley, AL; LaGrange, GA; St. Simons Island, GA; and Augusta, GA, Tommy worked for various plants and engineering companies after earning his Bachelor’s in Science in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University. He retired from Century 3 Engineering. In his free time, Tommy loved fishing, golfing, and traveling with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathleen Givens Fickling; his daughters, Leslie Madison Fickling and Caroline Chapman Fickling; his mother, Annette Fickling; his sister, Terry Fickling and his nephew, Alexander Peterson; his brother, Tim Fickling (Brittany) and his nephew, Hunter Fickling and niece, Olivia Holt.

A memorial service honoring Tommy’s life will be held on Friday, December 6 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tommy’s memory may be made to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Center for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
