Lena was a beautiful, energetic, and sassy soul who loved to live life to the fullest. With just a smile or entrance into a room, she could brighten up the whole place. Her many memories will follow in the hearts of anyone who knew her. She was a bright and determined student at Strom Thurmond High School, as she dedicated and spent many hours with her welding family. Welding was a passion she sought after and succeeded at. She was named Welder of the Year for South Carolina in 2020 and planned to further her passion at Arclabs Welding School in Columbia following her graduation from Strom Thurmond High School. She had recently received her membership into the American Welding Society, an accomplishment she was incredibly proud of. In addition to welding, Lena loved being outdoors, riding motorcycles, and hunting. Family vacations were a highlight of her life. Lena would never let anything stand in her way, in any aspect of life. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and cousin to many, but considered a friend to all. Her love was courageous and contagious, as it was displayed all over the CSRA. Over the past sixteen years, she left the biggest mark in the hearts of everyone, but is gone many years too early.
In addition to her parents, Lena leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Cheyenne DeWolfe; her grandmother, Brenda Phillips; her aunts and uncles, Donna Kolb (John), Eric Phillips, Paula Phillips (Pam), Diane Moore (Dean), Tina Sherrod (Greg), Tammy Childers (Chris); and her cousins, Philip, Karlee, Amanda, Austin, Andrew, Dustin, Ashley, Kerrianne, and Michael.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald Phillips, Ronald DeWolfe, and Frances DeWolfe.
