Augusta, GA.......Mrs. Kimberly Walden Parsons, 58, wife of John Parsons, entered into rest on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Doctor's Hospital.
The woman, the myth, the legend; Kimberly Celeste (Walden) Parsons.
Kim would like it known she passed peacefully as a result of being stubborn and raising hell for more than five decades. She was a ballcap-wearing, life-loving, adventurous woman. A wonderful person and friend; “Kimmie” was the absolute coolest Aunt who gave freely of her time and resources to the many children who loved and looked up to her. Kim was generous to a fault, and her compassion for teaching and fellowship will be remembered fondly by generations of the young people that she worked with. She was a master dodge-ball coach, monkey-bar spotter, gardening-guru and boo boo-fixer. A tree of remembrance will be planted in Kimmie’s name, at the school at which she worked, by her husband, John.
She is survived by her beloved husband John Parsons, parents Leon and Vickie Walden, sister Kip, and dog Q. She was excited to reunite with her dogs Gypsy, Miss Davis, and Curly who had passed before her.
Memorial Services to be held on Monday, September 25th at High Praises Church of God, located at 1896 Knobcone Ave. in North Augusta at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kim's memory may be made to the church.
