Jasper, GA…….Mr. Kevin J. Castellano, 51, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2021 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Wade Sosebee officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The wearing of masks and social distancing is encouraged. Born in Atlanta, Kevin visited North Augusta often to visit his grandparents, the late Edith and Joseph Barden. He was a Forensics Technician having served with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for the past many years and had earned the title of Expert Witness in cases tried in court. He had a passion for all types of video games and was a very talented player. In his free time, he also enjoyed studying Astronomy and was an avid reader of science fiction. When his mother became disabled and needed help, Kevin cared for her, managed her affairs, and visited often.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Joseph A. Castellano and Jonsey Jones; his mother, Beverly Barden Castellano; his uncle, John R. Barden; and his former mother-in-law, Carol Hiers.
