June Ditty Obituary
North Augusta, SC…….June Margaret Ditty, 81, wife of James Ditty, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
She was born in Cheltenham, England on July 13, 1941, to the late Albert and Ada Mary Jackson Papworth.
June was a member of the Road Angels Car Club, the Carolina AMC Club, and the 14th Armored Cavalry Association. She worked as an area supervisor for Zippy Mart, Inc and as a sewing teacher for Singer Sewing Center. She was known as an excellent seamstress and was part of the Angel Gown Program, making and donating infant burial attire. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling, crocheting and knitting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, James Ditty (Maria) and Wayne Ditty; a sister, Barbara Hurley; a brother Michael Papworth; and grandchildren Christian Ditty, Victoria Ditty, and Savannah Ditty.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
