Joseph Lawton Hall, Jr. Obituary

North Augusta, SC……..Mr. Joseph Lawton Hall, Jr., 96, husband of Katherine Elliott Hall, entered into rest on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at his residence. 


His graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Historic First Baptist Church of Beech Island Cemetery with Veteran’s Honors. The family will receive friends at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home prior to the service from 11:00 AM until Noon.


Joe loved the outdoors and gardening. A US Navy Veteran, Joe was honorably discharged in 1948. He had a 36 year career with the E.I. DuPont Company where he served as an operator. He was an active member of the North Augusta Bible Chapel until his health prevented his regular attendance. Everywhere Joe went, he witnessed. His main goal in life was to win souls for The Lord. 


He was preceded in heavenly reunion by his loving wife M. Collette Hall.


Left to cherish his memory in addition to his wife are his sister, Doris Lauer; his daughters Lisa Hall Hamilton,(Roy), Erin Phillips (Poto-Dill); his son, Paul Hall (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Duke Poto-Dill, Kayle Poto-Dill, Savannah Poto-Dill, James Hall, Gabrielle Hamilton; and his great grandson, Jace Hall.
