John Carey Murdock

Mr. John Carey Murdock, 69, of North Augusta, on Monday, July 24, entered into the presence of his Savior, to fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. After patiently and faithfully enduring many years of illness, it has pleased God to give him victory and deliver him out of the miseries of this sinful world.

A North Augusta native, John was the son of the late Jim and Betty Murdock. He owned and operated John Carey Murdock Cabinet Maker in the area for 27 years.

Those remaining in loving memory of him include his wife Joy Oline Neufeld Murdock; his children: John Carey (Kristin), Jarrod Cicero, James Clancy, Amelia Ruth, and Callison Anne (who preceded him to heavenly rest); his brother, Danny Murdock (Bernice); his sister, Becky Haddon (Doug); two grandchildren, John Christopher Murdock and Marielle Rose Murdock; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Rowland-Ford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, at 1:00 PM, at First Baptist Church of North Augusta. Visitation will take place before the service, from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM.
