Jo Carol (Caston) Johnson

North Augusta, SC....... Jo Carol (Caston) Johnson entered into rest on April 29, 2026, at the age of 71.

Family and friends are invited to gather at J. M. Ford Funeral Directors on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Jo was a selfless and giving person who always put others before herself—even in her final days. She had a deep love for her animals and found joy in caring for them. She delighted in thrifting and collecting vintage furniture and clothing, always appreciating the beauty and history in each piece. Jo took great pride in her yard, spending countless hours keeping it beautiful. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Pickney and Lillian Jackson Caston; her brother, James “Jimmy” Caston; and her brother-in-law, Lansing “Lanny” Montgomery.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jonathon Johnson of Seattle, WA; her beloved grandpuppy, Darcy Johnson of Seattle, WA; her sister, Elaine Montgomery of North Augusta, SC; and her nephew, Mark Montgomery of Asheville, NC.
