Jim Reid

North Augusta, SC…….Mr. Jim Reid, 75, husband of Marilyn Reid, entered into rest on Monday, April 3, 2023 at his residence. 

His memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, April 10, 2023 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John M. Younginer, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Jim spent 50 years in the Textile industry, ending his career in Product Development for Avondale Mills. He was an avid UNC Tarheels basketball fan, enjoyed playing golf, and summer vacations at Sunset Beach with family and friends.

Additional survivors include his sons, Drew Reid and Greg Reid (April); his daughters, Krista Jiunnies (Jeremy) and Whitney Thompson (Casey); his grandchildren, Alison Reid, Mallory Reid, Cooper Reid, Addison Reid, Brooke Jiunnies, Blake Jiunnies, Britton Kate Jiunnies, Davis Thompson, and Colin Thompson; his brother, Gary Reid (Becky); his sister, Rhonda Rary; and his mother, Christine Reid. He was preceded in death by his father, John Reid and his sister, Yvonne Smith.
