Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Jean Slusser entered into rest on October 25, 2023 at the age of 71.
She was born in Waycross, GA to the late Wilbur and Ruth Jackson on March 15, 1952.
Jackie attended National Hills Baptist Church and was passionate about feeding the homeless. She loved children and was a second mother to many. She deeply loved family time. The activity didn’t matter–their togetherness did. She especially loved her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and faithfully prayed for many. She was wise, small but mighty, and would do anything for her family.
Left to cherish Jackie’s memory are her beloved husband, Les Slusser; her children, Brian Slusser and Jeanna Lyons (Joe); and her grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Joy, Olivia, and Eva Grace; her brother in law, Mark Slusser and sister in law, Carol Weingart (Doug). She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Jackson.
The family will receive friends at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home on Sunday, October 29 from 4:00-6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 30 at 11:00 AM, Dr. Kevin Steele officiating. Burial in Pineview Memorial Gardens will follow.
