Jacob Thomas Sheehan

North Augusta, SC……. It is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of my son, Jacob “Jake” “Diggity” Thomas Sheehan, 28, on June 29, 2025 at his residence. 

Jake is survived by his mom, Jenn Adleman; his younger sister, Katie Shafer; his maternal grandparents, Donna “Grammy” and Ron “Papa” Adleman; his cherished cats, Tripping Hazard and Julien; as well as his chosen family, Kara, Alex, Ethan, Walker, Christian, Ashley, Chef Mike, PJ & Sophia, Aleah & Blake, Courtney & Tyler, Benson, and Kadeem.

The “overwhelming amount of Diggity” we once experienced is now “no Diggity”.

“If not for his empathy and compassion, I’d be in much worse shape these days.”

“Jake showed up in a dream last night, said hi and gave me a big hug.”

“Dearly loved and will be deeply missed.”

“We shared a love for food as well as some dark humor.”

“A neighbor for a moment, a friend for a lifetime….brave heart, brilliant mind, and calm during the storm. I’ll keep an eye on the blackberries…promise.”

“OBSTINATE in his own Jake way. BOUGIE when it came to things that he loved. RESILIENT till his last breath.”

“Jake was the easiest friend I ever made, and the simplest friend to keep. You merely opened the door for friendship, and then BAM!...friend for life.”

“Jake was a loving grandson, and loyal to his core.”

“I don't have the words to describe the impact his friendship had on me. I loved him. I miss him so goddamn much."

No services will be held as his life was celebrated by those who loved him in the weeks preceding his death. His memory will forever live on in our hearts, a testament to his profound impact on those blessed to know him.
