Dr. Alfreddie Williams, Jr. officiating and eulogist. The family will receive friends at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Heather was the definition of a caregiver, always putting others before herself. She spent many years as a medical assistant and phlebotomist where she was loved by her patients and coworkers alike. Her sense of humor and love for telling jokes brought a smile to everyone she encountered. When she wasn’t making people laugh, she was making them happy by cooking one of her many delicious recipes for pancakes, banana pudding, or the birthday cakes that she made from scratch and decorated for her children. Heather was truly a woman of many talents. She would often tell Dwayne to move so that she could work on her own car. She was an extremely talented musician and poet. She loved to play the violin and sing, often convincing others to join in with her as she sang. Heather’s makeup and fashion were always on point. There was never a new palette of makeup released that she did not buy. Her fashion sense was unparalleled, she could take clothes from the clearance rack and look like she stepped out of a magazine. Heather was full of life and loved those around her, human and animal. She held a special place for her cat, Sylvester. She will be missed but everyone that knew her will know that when they see dragonflies or butterflies, Heather is checking in on them.
Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her husband include her son, Brandon Michael Schroyer; her daughter, Breanna Marie Schroyer; her brother, Bradley James Halford; her sisters, Kimberly Quinones (Letonio), Christina Cruz (Xavier) and Alexis Conrad; her father, Donald Earl Conrad; her mother and father-in-law, Alberta and Willie Elam; her brothers-in-law, Willie Elam (Lelia) and Byron Elam (Lizzette); her sisters-in-law, Greta Cobb (Gregory) and Yolanda Elam; her nieces and nephews, Sarah Bady, Jonah Bady, Austin Bady, Rebekah Quinones, Kelly Miracle, Seith Cruz, Lilly Cruz, Briana Adams and Chelsea Adams; her best friends, Tamika Danforth and Linda Torres as well as a host of other family and friends.
