Georgette Doolittle Miller

North Augusta, SC……..Mrs. Georgette Doolittle Miller, 77, wife of 24 years to the late Quincy T. Miller, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her residence. 

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 12, 2021 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Miller was a faithful Christian, she was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and also attended True North Church. She read her Bible and prayed each day without fail. She could always be found in her garden, tending to her flowers, or in her kitchen, baking one of her many treats, particularly her delicious pound cake. She was a hard worker and had a selfless attitude. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Through the years, she became the babysitter for all of the grandchildren and would never say no to watching somebody’s children who needed it. 

She is survived by her daughter, Quinette Miller Redd (Travis); her step daughters, Quinene Miller, of Greenwood, Emily Gregory (Jerry), of Edgefield, Donna Parker, of Fountain Inn, and Diane Miller, of Sylvania, GA; her sister, Agnes Mitchem, of Prosperity; her grandchildren, Megan Redd and Travis Redd, Jr.; two nephews; and a host of step grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

The family wishes to thank Kindred Hospice for their compassionate care of Mrs. Miller.
