Ellen Keane Tyler

Edgefield, SC…Mrs. Ellen Keane Tyler, age 83, entered into rest at home on April 30, 2024.

She was born on December 7, 1941, and was a lifelong resident of North Augusta, living in Edgefield County for over 40 years. Married to Buck Tyler for 62 years, she was predeceased by him in January. She was also predeceased by her parents, John and Bernice Keane, brothers, Jack Keane and Mike Keane.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Beth T. Reynolds and Terri T. Mayson (Bruce), a sister Connie Keane Olney (George) two sisters-in-law Sonia Tyler Harper and Myrtle Baston Tyler, four grandchildren Aubrey Shields, Noelle Booth (Dan), Sarah Mayson, Tyler Mayson (Mary Anna) and six great-grandchildren, Caroline and Zane Shields, Tinsley and McKinley Booth, Brenden Mayson and Stetson Mayson. She has many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Friday May 3 at 3:00 PM in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow.
