Eamon Rory Moloney, 22, a student of the University of Augusta, Range Instructor at S.H.A.R.P.E. Shooters and resident of Evans, Georgia by way of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2021.
Eamon was born in St. Clair, Michigan on August 3, 1999, to Brian and Danita Moloney and brought happiness to his family and friends everyday with his kind and loving heart. As a student, he sought to care for those around him, by pursuing a degree in psychology, with the goal of one day helping veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Professionally, Eamon brought his same passion to help those around him, by consistently providing guidance to new and avid marksmen that came to the range. Eamon was beloved by his immediate and extended family, and often spent time hiking, hunting, fishing, and having long conversations with his brothers. Eamon was fiercely loyal, kind, and attentive to the needs of those around him, and always strived to help those in need.
Eamon is survived by his parents; his brothers, Ryan, Ian, and Cavin Moloney; his grandparents; and cousins across the country and in Ireland. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 5 at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home in North Augusta, South Carolina. The family will receive friends from noon until service time. A livestream of the service will be available by using the following link https://livestream.com/rowlandford/events/9832384. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that mourners provide a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
