Douglas Bernard Merritt

Modoc, SC……Mr. Douglas Bernard Merritt, 44, husband of Jessica DeLaigle Merritt, entered into rest on Thursday, October 27, 2022. 

Mr. Merritt was born in Augusta, GA and most recently made his home in Modoc, SC. He was employed by US Brick, LLC as a Database Administrator. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time on the lake with his family and restoring classic cars.

Mr. Merritt was predeceased by his mother, Jane Hendrix Merritt. Left to cherish his memory, along with his wife, are his children, Logan DeLaigle, Zaida Merritt, Bronwyn Merritt, and Quade Merritt; his father, Robert Merritt, Sr.; his sister, Julie Logue (Tazewell); and his 2 brothers, Robert Merritt and Joseph Merritt.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 29 from 3:00-5:00 pm at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home.
