Charles A. "Chuck" Eubanks

North Augusta, SC…...Mr. Charles A. Eubanks, 63, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his residence.

His memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2020 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel. Social distancing will be practiced.

Chuck was a lifelong resident of North Augusta and cherished his small hometown. He was active in the Jaycees and was a committee member of the Augusta Southern Nationals. A long time member of the North Augusta Country Club, Chuck loved to play golf. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed meeting his coffee club buddies in the mornings. Cheering on his beloved Clemson Tigers was his most favorite pastime. Chuck was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta early in his life and later, Sweetwater Baptist Church.

Chuck worked alongside his father, Charles, in his many side businesses. He learned all aspects of residential construction during his early years working with Earl Byrd Construction. He joined the workforce with du Pont at the Savannah River Plant where he started as an operator in the Separations Facilities and worked his way up to shift supervisor. In his later life, he worked in both residential and commercial HVAC fields for Southern Mechanical. Chuck enjoyed learning new skills which earned him the title "Jack of all trades" as a carpenter, a home builder, an auto mechanic, an electrician, a plumber, and a construction supervisor. He looked forward to sharing his knowledge and enjoyed teaching those who were willing to learn the craft.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jeanne Eubanks. Survivors include two daughters, Randi Smith and Micki Eubanks; two grandchildren, Porter Smith and Charley June Smith; a grand pup, Ruger Cassidy Eubanks; two brothers, Hugh Eubanks and Frank Eubanks; a sister, Babs Wagoner and an aunt, Dot McKie.
