North Augusta, SC..........Mr. Charles “Chuck” Vignati entered into rest at his residence on Friday, November 18th, 2022.
Mr. Vignati was a lifelong resident of North Augusta, SC. where he was born to the late Mr. Joseph Vignati and Mrs. Betty Vignati. Chuck retired from Metal Specialists of Augusta, where he was employed since it’s founding in 1997 in partnership with many of what he considered to be his lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Joseph Vignati, his mother Mrs. Betty Vignati, and his sister Mrs. Victoria (Vignati) Chason. He is survived by his brother Joe Vignati Jr, his sister Kathy Heistand; his three daughters, Betty Vignati, Christen Greenway (Jeff), and Adarian Bentley (Robert). As Papa Chuck, he enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren, Jeffrey Greenway III, Aughtum Greenway, McKenzie Greenway, Raegan Bentley, and Harper Bentley.
Chuck enjoyed time with his family and friends, including fishing with his sons-in-law, golfing with his Brother-in-law Mr. Charles Chason and late father Mr. Joseph Vignati, and tending to his cherished coin collection. His favorite companion at home was his dog Koda, whom Chuck spoiled with every moment of the day. The memorable moments of his life for his family include his unwavering dedication to his daughters; his willingness to comfort and support the family that we loved so dearly; and his many lessons about the importance of family.
His funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shane Williams officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until service time.
