Capri Shawn (Braswell) Hyatt

Augusta, GA.......Capri Shawn Braswell Hyatt entered into rest July 28th, 2024 in Augusta, Georgia. She gained her wings at 55 years old after a long fight with pancreatic cancer.

She was born at St. Joesph Hospital Augusta, Georgia on September 27th, 1968 to the predeceased Rose Ann Tucker.

Capri was an insurance agent for thirty one years. She started with Hoke Brantley at StateFarm in 1998, was her own MetLife agent for four years and managed seven different office locations.

She spent the last few years enjoying time with family, gardening in her garden and caregiving Barabra Hundley until she was laid to rest February 16th 2023.

Capri is lovingly remembered by her sons; Jamie Lynn Avery Riner, Stephen Lee Hyatt Jr., and Skyler Todd Hyatt; her granddaughters Kalynn Mires Riner and Madilynn Rose Wigley; her sister, Cheire Dawn Newton Thompson; her father, Ned Avery Braswell; and her niece, Gabrielle Rose Sharpe.

A memorial service honoring Capri's life will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at Grove First Baptist Church, 108 W Robinson Ave. in Grovetown, at 4:00 PM.
