Brenda Yvonne (Carroll) Taylor

Augusta, GA…Brenda Yvonne Taylor, 58, entered into rest at her residence on May 22, 2021.

Her memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Wade Sosebee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A livestream link for the service will be available on the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home website.

Born and raised in Augusta, GA, Brenda attended West Side High School where she obtained both her diploma and cosmetology license in 1980.  She attended Augusta Technical College where she majored in marketing and went on to work at Medical College of Georgia as the senior clerk from 1989-2016. In 2018 she became the personal caregiver of her lifelong best friend Anita Blackman’s mother, Barbara Boytin.

She is survived by her sons, Brandon Carroll (Amanda), Joshua Pinion (David Harden), Ryan Taylor, Jerry Taylor (Erica); her father, Bobby Carroll; her two sisters, Robin Carroll and Tiffany Clements; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Carroll, Elijah Carroll, Maddison Hoffman, Isabelle Hoffman, Abel Carroll, Aubree Taylor, and Lucas Taylor. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Clements; her stepfather, Jerry Clements; and two sisters, Anne Lever and Nancy Boyle.
