Betty N. Bethune

North Augusta, SC....... Mrs. Betty N. Bethune, 90, left for her Heavenly home on Monday, December 7, 2020 at National Healthcare.

Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Lance Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

She was born in Augusta, GA but spent most of her life in North Augusta, SC. Betty was a 1949 graduate of Tubman High School in Augusta and worked for 25 years as a medical transcriptionist. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Russell B. Bethune, Sr. and her daughter, Carol Bethune-Doyle.

She is survived by her son, Russell "Rusty" Bethune, Jr. (Alaine); her grandsons, Travis W. Bethune and Clayton B. Bethune (Lindsey); and her great-grandchildren, Jordan R. Bethune, Ella Grace Bethune, and Adalyn R. Bethune.
