Bessie Ray Maisenhelder

Mrs. Bessie Ray Maisenhelder, age 92, passed away on January 15, 2022.

Bessie was born in Bowman, SC in Orangeburg County. She had lived in the CSRA for the past 75 years. She was a graduate of Augusta’s Tubman High School. Bessie enjoyed spending time with her family and in her garden. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five siblings, and a son, John D. Maisenhelder (Barbara). Survivors include a son, Kenneth A. (Linda); a daughter, Tamara S. (Jane); two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Pineview Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Roy Kiser officiating.
