Antonio "AJ" Miguel Freeman, Jr.

Warrenville, SC…….Mr. Antonio “AJ” Miguel Freeman, Jr., 17, went to his Heavenly playing field, departing this life to play on God’s team on Saturday, June 29, 2019. 

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Martris Mims officiating. Interment will follow in Old Storm Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. 

AJ was born May 13, 2002 in Detroit, MI to Antonio Freeman, Sr. and Fermeko Brown. He attended school in Aiken County at Jefferson Elementary, LBC Middle and Midland Valley High. AJ was an incredibly talented athlete, excelling at football, basketball and track. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Fermeko (Cedrick) Geter; his father, Antonio Freeman, Sr.; five siblings, Alpharoh Fenner, Totyanna Freeman, Xavier Geter, Xa’Nasha Geter and Karmelo Geter; his grandmothers, Michane Patricia Geter, and Rhonda Freeman; his uncles, Stephen Geter (Nakisha), Casey Geter, Byron Williams (Ronica) and Benny Hudson; his aunties, Sheena Clark, Teffie Sanders and Whitney Wiggleton; his extended family, Jessica Bell (Thomas), Alex, Christian, Abigail and Evan; his “Nana and Grandpa”, William and Rhonda Wilson; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. 

AJ was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Willie Mae Brown.

Pallbearers will be Alex Tucker, Christian Tucker, Keon Robertson, Jojo Smalls, Amir Shoultz, Kendriqe Starlings, Alden Ennis and Blake Shearer. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be coaches and players of the Midland Valley High School Football Team. All pallbearers are asked to be at the church no later than 10:30 AM on Saturday.

The family will receive friends at Rowland-Ford Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Rowland-Ford Funeral Home.
