North Augusta, SC..... Mrs. Ann Dukes Farmer, 78, entered into rest on May 26, 2024.
She was born in Orangeburg, SC on November 1, 1945 to the late Perry and Elizabeth Dukes. She worked as a social care worker for the Georgia Department of Mental Health.
Ann was an avid reader, and she supported the arts as a member of the Friends of the Augusta Symphony. She was involved in various service projects, including work with the Community Ministry of North Augusta. She was the last charter member of North Augusta’s Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Ann was a great friend, and she loved being a grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her son, Chris Farmer.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, George D. Farmer; son, Andy Farmer (Kara); daughter-in-law Edith Farmer; brother, Perry Dukes (Nancy); grandchildren Isabelle, Corbin, and Tess Farmer; nephews Brendan Dukes (Tara) and Kevin Dukes (Courtney); grand-nieces and nephews, Lilly, Emma, Everett, Lane, and Ford Dukes.
A memorial service honoring Ann’s life will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
