Witona Ann Swindle Manttari

North Augusta, SC… Witona Ann Swindle Manttari entered into rest on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at NHC HeathCare in North Augusta. 

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday August 4, 2018 at The Living History Park Barn, 299 W. Spring Grove Avenue in North Augusta.

Known to all friends as Toni, she was born in Commerce, GA and was the eldest of five children born to Faye and Theo Swindle. She is survived by a daughter, Ellen Farrar (Mark) of North Augusta; a son, Eric Petry (Angela) of Bloomington, IN; a brother, Tillman Swindle of Roswell, GA; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She graduated from Northern Kentucky University and loved art, painting, gardening, ballroom dancing, needlework, reading and playing cards. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren, and was well loved for her quick wit and passion for life.
