My Brother, What do I say? I miss you, I love you, I will never forget you. We have so many memories to look back on and every one will not be the same without you. My big brother my friend, My heart is torn into a million pieces knowing I will never be able to argue with you, laugh with, you cry with you. But the best part of all of this is, Is knowing that you knew you were going home to be with the Lord, And just like I told you Sunday night, I'll meet you by the River.

Will have MANY special memories of my late brother-in-law......his ever present twinkle in those Davenport blues, and the coffee container that NEVER seemed to leave his hand or the warm smile I saw when the family gathered together and he'd observe and laugh softly as he took ALL the different loved ones sharing and fussing and just doing their own thing.
He will, however, be my ice cream man.....WHO could have seen God's plan for us to all be family when I was a high school freshman and he'd have his spot every lunch period just outside Stranahan High Schools gates? I'd see him EVERY single DAY I was at school for those four years and I would always get a treat from the DUDE WITH THE BEARD without fail on ALL the lunches I'd hang outside the gates.....lol
I am amazed he remembered me at ALL. ...and the other way around, TOO! !
God bless the Davenport clan and I love all of you and pray you're grief will be tempered with laughs and smiles as you remember Truette and remember he's not but a thought, or a prayer away until you see him again with ALL Gods Glory.
Love,
Bridget

I am truly sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us comfort and hope when it states "there is going to be a resurrection."--Acts 24:15
