North Augusta, SC…… Mr. Lawrence Carlton Canipe, Jr., 60, husband of Tamara B. Canipe, entered into rest on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center.
His memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in Fairview Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mike Llamas officiating. Interment will be private.
Carlton was a man who loved the Lord and his family. An avid outdoorsman, he particularly loved fishing, shrimping and trips to Hunting Island.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence C. Canipe, Sr. and Iris Baughman Canipe.
Additional survivors include two sons, Christopher Tylor Canipe (Hollie Anne) and Cody Whitman Canipe (Kelly); two daughters, Haley Michelle Rizzo (Bennie) and Calli Alexis Mote (Nelson); two brothers, Harold Canipe (Julie) and Michael Canipe; four sisters, Cheryl Llamas (Mike), Cathy Kays (Joe), Wanda Llamas (Wayne) and Glenda Canipe; three grandchildren, Christiana Canipe, Kade Mote and Ellion Canipe; his “Mom” Lydia Sue Canipe; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
