Edgefield, SC... Mrs. Judith Lockey Hamilton, wife of Jack A. Hamilton, Sr., entered into rest on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Edgefield County Hospital.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Harmony United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Thompson and Mr. Greg Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
Judith attended Harmony UMC and was retired from Pine Ridge and Woodside Country Clubs where she served as food services director. To quote one of her "daughters", "To know this fine lady was to love her. Her smile and her laugh were the most contagious I’ve ever known. And her cooking! Oh GRACIOUS, her cooking! Martha Stewart? Paula Deen? No thanks. Give me Judith Hamilton’s cooking all day long. She fought a long battle, and she fought HARD. But now she is home with Jesus, and I’m sure she has already been made a heavenly hostess to greet, feed and love on everyone."
